step 1 - add 25 to unit place number and write on left side

step 2 - take square of unit place and write on right side

example 1 – 57²

step 1- add 25 to unit place number and write on left side

25 + 7 =32

step 2 - take square of unit place and write on right side

7² =49

So the final answer will be 3249

example 2 – 53²

step 1- add 25 to unit place number and write on left side

25 + 3 =28

step 2 - take square of unit place and write on right side

3² =09 (it can’t be 9 it has to be 2 digit no.)

So the final answer will be 2809

example 3 – 56²

step 1- add 25 to unit place number and write on left side

25 + 6 =31

step 2 - take square of unit place and write on right side

6² =36

So the final answer will be 3136
