Vedic Maths squaring of numbers ending with 5

step 1 - The no. other than 5 we have to increment it by 1 and multiply both the nos.

step 2 -The no. 5 in the end its square will always be 25

example 1 - 85²

step 1 - The no. other than 5 we have to increment it by 1 and multiply both the nos.

8 increments by 1 i.e 9

Multiply 8 x 9 =72

step 2 -The no. 5 in the end its square will always be 25

so the final result will be

7225

example 2 - 1005²

step 1 - The no. other than 5 we have to increment it by 1 and multiply both the nos.

100 increments by 1 i.e 101

Multiply 100 x 101 =10100

step 2 -The no. 5 in the end its square will always be 25

so the final result will be

1010025

example 3 - 9995²

 step 1 - The no. other than 5 we have to increment it by 1 and multiply both the nos.

999 increments by 1 i.e 1000

Multiply 999 x 1000 =999000
