PgMP exam questions are from all five performance domains and one need to get moderately proficient in each domain in order to pass the exam. Below are no of questions asked in various performance domains:-

1. Strategic program management – This contains 11 tasks and 25 questions will be asked
2. Program lifecycle management – This contains 35 tasks and 75 questions will be asked
   1. Initiating – 6 tasks, 10 questions
   2. Planning – 9 tasks, 19 questions
   3. Executing – 9 tasks, 24 questions
   4. Controlling – 6 tasks, 17 questions
   5. Closing – 5 tasks, 5 questions
3. Benefits management – This contains 8 tasks and 19 questions will be asked
4. Stakeholder engagement – This contains 7 tasks and 27 questions will be asked
5. Governance – This contains 11 tasks and 24 questions
